To use these access key shortcuts:

  • Internet Explorer users should press the "ALT" key together with the relevant number below, then "enter".
  • Firefox users should press the "SHIFT" and the "ALT" keys together with the relevant number below.

The access keys which are used on this site are:

1 Homepage

0 Access key details
s Text size small
m Text size medium
l Text size Large

Please note that not all browsers support access keys.

Our website uses the recommended UK Government access keys where they are relevant

Adjustable Text Size

We have provided a convenient method of adjusting the text size on this site. You can vary the site by selecting one of the small, medium or large letter 'A' symbols towards the top right of each page. You can also select the different sizes by using the 's', 'm' and 'l' access keys.

Our web site 'remembers' which text size you have selected by using a cookie. This is a small text file which your browser will store for you. If you have switched off your browser's cookie capability then the site won't be able to remember your size selection between pages and will revert to small.

Some browsers also have their own facility to change the size of the text. For example, in Internet Explorer you can select 'Text Size' from the 'Page' menu. Please refer to your web browser's help screen for more information about this.

W3C Web Standards

We conform to the W3C Accessibility Guidelines by adhering to the W3C Web Standards in the design and coding of all our web pages.

By designing to Web Standards, the informational content of web pages becomes accessible to many more people, irrespective of their physical ability or the internet browsing device that they may be using.
